Students axe teachers head in Osun.

A teacher of Osogbo High School, identified as Mr. A. Olamoyegun was yesterday attacked by some students of Technical College, Osogbo, he was allegedly axed on his head.

The teacher’s head and body were dripping blood before he was reportedly being rushed down to the state House Clinic at Okefia for the first aid treatment.
It was gathered that the teacher was later transferred to the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital for comprehensive treatment.

However, no reason was given for the attack on the teacher inside the Osogbo High School.
Some students and teachers of the school, however, were said to have resisted the attack before the police came and arrested the suspects, who attempted to escape from the scene of the incident.
The State Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Mr. Ayo Olowe, confirmed the incident.
